To the Swan family,
I know you all know how lucky you were to have your mother in your life. She was a remarkable woman, who I had the chance to work at Congressman Joe Moakley's Office. I saw your mom as she worked diligently to help the Congressman's constituents, who were in financial need. Her area of expertee was the issue of Social Security and she fought for the constituent, so they received the benefits they so desperately need. It is so hard to believe that Jean has past, because she was so strong. I am sure the Swan family has a lot of fond memories of your mother and she will live on with you through those memories. Please accept my deepest sympathy.
